Two lovers get separated by time and space itself, when Mikako joins a research mission into space, leaving her one true love, Noboru, behind. Their own way of communication is through text message, but as Mikako travels farther into the depths of space, her barely aging in space's timelessness and Noboru growing older on Earth, it takes longer and longer for their messages to reach each other. Noboru finally realizes that he can't live without her, so he joins a rescue mission being sent to Mikako's almost destroyed ship. Will Noboru reach his one true love, or will Mikako be lost in time and space?
