12 Hour Comic Book Day
12 HOUR COMIC BOOK DAY
12 Hour Comic Book Day is an annual event in June produced by Monroe County Public Library Children's and Teen Services, with the help of Vintage Phoenix Comics. Each year, young women and men between the ages of 10 and 20 write and illustrate comics of their own creation within a time limit of twelve consecutive hours. This year, we had over 100 participants. Five tenacious young women lasted the full twelve hours: Natalia, Ursa, Clare, Huntington, and April!

Also, take a look at Ursa and Natalia's simply amazing graphic novel 12, completely planned, written, and illustrated in twelve hours on June 28, 2012!!!
