Coded Concoctions - Ellettsville

Curious about computers? Come conjure up some fun while learning the basics of coding. Participants will use MIT's Scratch program to create a simple game. Please plan to attend all 3 sessions to ensure a finished product. You may bring your own laptop, or one will be provided.

Snakehead Ed and Slithery Friends - Ellettsville

His program feature snakes from Africa, Asia, Australia, and South and North America and starts with mid-sized species and ends with huge, beautiful boas and pythons. Participants will find that the truth about snakes is more fascinating than their myths in this educational and entertaining event.

Skate Night at Western Skateland

A FREE night of skating sponsored by IU Health Bloomington, with activities from the RBBCSC Family Involvement Center and Monroe County Public Library. mention one of these agencies at the door and you can skate for free at 930 W. 17th Street and you and your family skate for free. When resting from skating, visit booths with craft activities and information to keep everyone in the family active, healthy, and happy. All ages. Drop in. An adult must accompany children.

Wind-Powered Lanterns - Ellettsville

Blending art and science, these impressive dancers ignite your senses and imagination, and get everyone fired up for Summer Reading! After the performance visit an Ellettsville Fire Department Truck and learn about the science of fire from local firefighters. All ages. Drop in.
