- E-Textile Fashion

Monday, June 30, 2014 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Fashion is being transformed by the integration of wearable technologies.

Light up your wardrobe and work on basic programming skills in this unique hands-on introduction to e-textiles. During this three-part workshop you gain new sewing skills, learn how to use conductive thread to sew a circuit, and use the block-style programming software ModKit to program a sewable LilyPad Arduino.

Prerequisite: You must make a hat at the Mending Day program on Saturday, June 28 to participate in this workshop.

Please register for all three sessions. Completed grades 4-12

This workshop is in collaboration with our friends at Discardia.
