With professional care centers in Bedford and Bloomington, our short and long-term accommodations include personalized nursing services, specialty Alzheimer's care, and various forms of recreational and physical therapy. We also offer a sophisticated aquatic therapy program, featuring the state-of-the-art HydroWorx 2000 therapy pool.

Our church began in a small one room building on Lost Man’s Lane in the early 1832. In the early 1900’s the church purchased property at the top of Maple Grove Road and met there until 2008 when we purchased 15 acres on Simpson Chapel Road where we currently meet.

Since 1971, Middle Way House has been providing services to people in crisis. Today, we provide supportive and empowering services for survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, stalking and human trafficking.

Middle Way House serves six counties in southern Indiana (Monroe, Greene, Lawrence, Owen, Morgan, and Martin) and relies on a staff of 70 and a committed volunteer force to provide services. It is not necessary that an individual reside in our emergency shelter or transitional housing program to access most of our services. MCLS is a non-profit membership organization comprised of all types of libraries in Indiana and Michigan. MCLS provides libraries a convenient, single point of contact for training, group purchasing, and technical support for electronic resources. MCLS saves member libraries time and money.

Mini 4-H is a youth development organization that caters to youth in grades K - 2. Through club meetings, workshops and recreational activities, youth learn about themselves, each other and get to explore topics that interest them
Participants attend up to 15 different noncredit classes selected from nearly 100 titles. All classes are taught by IU faculty and most are held in the Indiana Memorial Union. Optional evening activities include a picnic, films, summer theater at the Brown County Playhouse, and social gatherings.

The Mobility Aids Lending Library (MALL) is an initiative started by a local group of women with physical disabilities (aka "the Wheelie Women") to serve the greater Bloomington community. The MALL program matches "gently used" mobility devices free of charge to those who cannot afford them or only need them for a short period of time. Items may include: canes, crutches, walkers, rollators, and wheelchairs (both manual and powered).
Monroe County Public Library is providing free used canes, crutches, walkers and rollators to the public for checkout during regular library hours. Other mobility aids, such as wheelchairs and powered devices, may be available from other MALL partners. Learn more about this Library service.

Monroe County 4-H Junior Leaders
Leaders is open to youth who are in grades 7 through 12 as of January 15 of the current year. Jr. Leaders work to provide community service to Monroe County as well as expanding their knowledge in citizenship, leadership, healthy living and STEM. You can join Jr. Leaders anytime between 7th and 12th grade and you do not have to be a previous 4-H member to join.
Adult Protective Service (APS) Units were established to protect endangered adults in Indiana and to provide protective services to these individuals.
Monroe County Apartment Association Mission Statement: The MCAA's mission is to serve the interests of and maintain a high level of professionalism within the single and multi-family housing industry (its owners, developers, managers, staff and suppliers of products and services) to better serve the rental housing needs of the public.
Founded in 1917, the Monroe County Bar Association (MCBA) numbers among its members attorneys who provide representation and address a wide range of legal needs for individuals, families, businesses, and institutions in Monroe County, throughout the state of Indiana, and beyond the state’s borders.
The mission of the Association is to assist its member attorneys through networking events, educational presentations, and related activities aimed at improving the skill and integrity of the legal profession, throughout Monroe County and Indiana.
The Monroe County Black Democratic Caucus is dedicated to the empowerment of Black citizens in the planning, decision making and overall progress of the Democratic Party and the promotion of Black candidates seeking public office within Monroe County.
Through an Eli Lilly Foundation grant to the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County, the Monroe County CAPE (Community Alliances to Promote Education) seeks to ensure that all Monroe County children enter school ready to learn, stay in school and graduate with skills to assume a job or to pursue further education and acquire the life skills and dispositions to be lifelong learners and good citizens.
