| Description | At a tea held in the home of Mrs. H. A. Hoffman on Thursday, April 24, 1913, a social organization of Indiana University faculty women, wives and teachers was proposed. Forty five women were present and after discussion, agreement was reached to send invitations to all eligible women; to hold eight meetings a year; to pay dues and to serve refreshments; and to have an executive committee to direct the organization. |
