The cover was interesting. It has a giant Mayan temple on the cover.
What is the story about?/What happened in the story?:
The story is about Jake Ransom, whose parents have disappeared on a hunt for Mayan artifacts. He and his sister have been given each a half of a token. When they go to a celebration for their parents and to look at the Mayan artifacts that they found on their last hunt, they put the token together in the mysterious hole in the tiny golden Mayan temple. They are transported to a land where dinosaurs exist and ancient cultures are living. When they arrive, they are attacked by a tyrannosaur and are saved by Marika and Pindor, a Mayan girl and a Roman boy. They are then escorted to the city of Allworld and there they learn of the Skull King and his disgusting grakyls. They learn how to mix stones together to make other stones. Then, only a few weeks after they have landed there, the Skull King attacks. He is a black magic sorcerer. They save the Allworld people, and then find a way to get home at last.
Why did you like this story? or Why did you not like this story?:
It was adventurous.
