Good Night and May God Bless told by Stephanie Holman

Sunday, October 19, 2014 | 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Familiar words for TV watchers during the 50s and 60s, this was beloved clown and Hoosier Red Skelton's sign off. Join our very own Stephanie Holman for an amazing storytelling about Red's early years in Vincennes, IN. Holman tells the story through the eyes of three influential women in Red's early life, including his wife Edna Stillwell and the creation of their famous skit, "How to Eat a Donut". Donuts and hot drinks provided.

Professional storyteller and MCPL librarian Stephanie Holman was commissioned by Storytelling Arts of Indiana and the Indiana History Center to create this story for the series "Sharing Hoosiers History Through Story".
