The Active Aging Coalition is a grassroots organization consisting of seniors, their families, caregivers, and other community advocates interested in improving lives of seniors in our community. Through monthly meetings and an interactive website, we learn about each others participation in the senior community, find ways to work together more efficiently, and increase our own understanding of available resources.

Description

Through an innovative fitness program, one-on-one computer tutoring program, arts and humanities classes, special events, inter-generational activities, support groups and volunteer opportunities, the Endwright Center strives to meet the various needs of people 50 years and older.

Description

Founded in 1973, our program provides nuntritious meals to homebound people who are unable to cook for themselves. We ensure that our clients receive two good meals a day delivered by a friendly visitor. Any person who lives in our Bloomington service area is eligible for Meals on Wheels. We have no age or economic restrictions.

Description

Bloomington Hospital's Alzheimer's Resource Service serves families and professional caregivers who live or work with Alzheimer's disease or other dementias. Care for the caregiver is a primary mission of the center, and education, support, and resources are offered at no charge.

Funded by the Bloomington Hospital Foundation. See also the Care Circle, a support group sponsored by the Alzheimer's Resource Center.
