Students provide free legal assistance on disability law issues to low-income residents of Monroe County, Indiana. Most individual cases involve claims for federal or state disability benefits at the administrative hearings and appeals. Students also participate in community projects that advocate disability rights.

IU Maurer School of Law students work out of Bloomington's Justice Building to assist tenants who face an immediate threat of eviction. TAP offers quality, one time legal information, advice, and representation at the Justice Building. The program does not provde legal help or referrals during other times.

The Protective Order Project is a student-directed service at the IU Maurer School of Law designed to help victims of domestic abuse obtain civil protective orders from the court, with the goal of preventing further abuse, both by restraining the abuser and by empowering the victim.
SCORE "Counselors to America's Small Business" is America's premier source of free & confidential small business advice for entrepreneurs. SCORE is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization formed in 1964 to help small businesses flourish. SCORE provides a public service to America by offering free small business advice and training.

The CCL Advice Project, created in conjunction with Indiana Legal Services, Bloomington; the District 10 Pro Bono Project; and the IU School of Law, will connect private attorneys or legal service organizations with Spanish speakers seeking legal help. Fees are based on individual legal needs and financial means. Spanish speaking volunteers will take applications for civil legal matters at designated time, and the referral program will ensure, to the extent possible, that the Latino applicant Is matched with an attorney and an interpreter if necessary.
