The IUOSA representatives include the elected president, president-elect, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and two student representatives from each Optometry class. Additionally, both the AOSA trustee and the trustee-elect are involved in IUOSA decision making. Membership is open to all students enrolled in the School of Optometry. By paying one set of dues to IUOSA, you become a member of IUOSA and the AOSA, AOA, and IOA organizations. Every student is welcome and encouraged to participate in IUOSA and its many projects. Weekly meetings in the student lounge on the third floor of the optometry building are open to all members


New Music Ensemble

Description The Indiana University New Music Ensemble dedicates its efforts to performing a broad spectrum of contemporary music, focusing on works from the past thirty years, but also presenting significant works from earlier in the 20th century. Along with solo, chamber, and large ensemble works by composers from around the world, a typical concert includes music by a guest composer and a work by a member of the Indiana University Composition Department, the latter of which is recorded soon after the concert.

Description The mission of Hilltop Garden and Nature Center is to provide a central place for research and education in gardening and nature. Our purpose is simple: to show how gardening deepens our awareness of all of nature around us. Description Participants attend up to 15 different noncredit classes selected from nearly 100 titles. All classes are taught by IU faculty and most are held in the Indiana Memorial Union. Optional evening activities include a picnic, films, summer theater at the Brown County Playhouse, and social gatherings.
