Description	The "fundraising arm" of the hospital. Raises additional funds to pay for needs which patient fees would not cover. Fundraisers include Hoosiers Outrun Cancer, a December gala evening, and other events as needs arise. Established in 1967 by the Local Council of Women, the Bloomington Hospital Foundation provides philanthropic support to Bloomington Hospital for projects, programs, services and equipment, which enhance the quality of health in our community.

Description	The inter-faith chapel at Bloomington Hospital demonstrates our commitment to supporting the spiritual needs of patients, visitors and staff. The chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital at the west end of the main lobby. Next door to the chapel are the chaplain's office and our Pastoral Services department. The chaplain is available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families.
