Adult bereavement groups are held in the winter, spring and fall months and facilitated by our Bereavement Coordinator. The groups are free and open to anyone in the community. Call for more information.

The Monroe County Chapter of the American Red Cross offers Lifeline Service to residents of Monroe, Owen, and surrounding counties. The Lifeline program enables individuals who are at risk to live independently in their own home.
Bloomington Nursing And Rehabilitation Center, located in Bloomington, Indiana provides the following services: Nursing Home, Skilled Nursing Facility, and Short Term Care: Rehabilitation. It accepts the following payment methods: Medicare and Medicaid.
WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

The inter-faith chapel at Bloomington Hospital demonstrates our commitment to supporting the spiritual needs of patients, visitors and staff. The chapel is located on the first floor of the hospital at the west end of the main lobby. Next door to the chapel are the chaplain's office and our Pastoral Services department. The chaplain is available to provide spiritual and emotional support to patients and families.
Unique to Bloomington and its innovative hospital, the Olcott Center for Cancer Education is completely supported by its community.
Registered nurse educators provide one-on-one education with clients and their family members. The Center offers an extensive lending library, weekly support groups, patient advocacy, and some individualized financial assistance. Free educational talks and materials are always available to groups, schools, businesses, and individuals.
